The Tirallongues de Manresa Castellera team performed this past Saturday together with the Castellers de Terrassa in Plaça Neus Català de Manresa on the occasion of the Fira Mediterrània day.
After a very good season and showing some last meritorious performances, the Manresans presented themselves at the square with the challenge of taking another and very important step for the gang. Download again on 4 of 8, a castle that has not been downloaded since November 2019.
In the first round of castles and after dismantling the structure once because it was out of size, there was euphoria, screams, and loud applause from a large audience in attendance when the little princess made her fin and crowned the 4 of 8 of the Tirallongues, then, the people from Manres faced the critical moment of the unloading, which the gang achieved without too many problems. There were also emotions, tears and hugs between the castellers at the time of the celebration.
This day also became the best performance of the season.
Also unloaded the first two pillars of 4 at the entrance of the Tirallongues, they showed a 5 of 7. A 4 of 7 with needle and a pillar of 5 in the following rounds of castles with very solid structures and very well worked at all times. They said goodbye to the fantastic day with three pillars of 4 women, composed entirely of women with the exception of one of the pillars that was composed by a man.
On the part of the Castellers de Terrassa, they unloaded 2 pillars of 4 entry, a 4 of 7, a 5 of 7, a 3 of 7 in the following rounds of castles. They ended with a pillar of 5.
The Egarencs, aware of the feat that the Tirallongues were preparing for this day, were very participatory by collaborating with their help on the pineapples of the Manresans.
The Tirallongues is already preparing its next day which will take place on October 14 in Lleida together with the Castellers dels Xiquets del Serrallo and the Castellers de Lleida.
