The Castellera group of Tirallongues de Manresa performed this past Monday, September 11 in Barcelona together with the Castellers de Barcelona on the occasion of the Festa Major del Poble Nou de Barcelona.
The day began with two pillars of 4 sets of mourning by the two gangs in tribute to Roser Herreros, better known as "Herre", former gang leader and fundamental pillar of the castella gang of Capgrossos de Mataró, died last September 8 at the age of 37 as a result of a traffic accident on the AP7.
Then the gangs started the day. The Manresans unloaded a 3d6 with needle in the first round of castles, a 4d6 in the second round and a 3d6 in the third. They ended their participation with a pillar of farewell 4.
On the part of the local team Castellers de Barcelona, they exhibited a 2 out of 7 in the first round, they made two dismounted attempts from a 4 out of 8, and unloaded a 7 out of 7 in the last round of castles, They said goodbye to their day with five pillars of 4.
The Tirallongues are already preparing their next day that will take place in Santpedor on September 16 at 5.30 pm in Plaça de la Font.
