The Tirallongues de Manresa casteller group performed this Sunday in the Plana de l'Om de Manresa together with the Castellers de Santpedor and the Castellers de l'Alt Maresme on the occasion of the Ascension fair.
They started their day with a pillar of 4 entry, in the first round of castles they unloaded a 4 of 7, in the second round they executed a 4 of 7 with pin, a 3 of 7 in the third and a pillar of 5 in the pillar rounds. To finish, they said goodbye to the day with 2 pillars out of 4.
On the part of Castellers de Santpedor, they unloaded a pillar of 4 at the beginning. In the first round they showed a 5 out of 6, in the second round a 2 out of 6 which in this case remained as a dismounted attempt, in the repetition round this castle was again left as an attempt, for the third round they unloaded a 4 out of 6 with a needle, in the rounds of pillars executed a pillar of 5 which in this case would also remain as a dismounted attempt, and a pillar of 4 farewell.
Castellers de l'Alt Maresme, also called 'Maduixots', started with a pillar of 4, in the rounds of castles they unloaded a 3de6, 3de with needle, a 2d6, and finally a pillar of 4.
As the Tirallongues had already announced during the last few days, they proposed to take a step further and set themselves a new challenge for this day. This moment reached the second round of castles when the Manresans unloaded the first 4 de 7 with needle of the season, a seven and a half castle much celebrated by the Manresans, also the first day, in which three seven-story structures were unloaded in this course. Those in the striped shirt close the first third of the season with very good feelings to face the second third with the highest ambitions to face bigger and more difficult castles.
