Manresa's long-distance runners performed this past Sunday in Banyoles together with the Colla Castellera dels Capgrossos de Mataró and with the local group Esperxats de l'Estany on the occasion of the 11th anniversary of the Pla de l'Estany group.
The Manresans started the day by entering the square with a pillar of 4 walking just like Capgrossos and Esperxats.
In the first round of castles the Tirallongues discharged a 4d6, in the second round a 4d6 with a needle, in the third a 3d6 and ended their day with a pillar of 4.
On the part of the Capgrossos de Mataró they showed a 5d7, 4d8, 7d7, pillar of 5 and ended with three pillars of 4.
The local Esperxats gang unloaded a 3d6 with needle, 4d6 with needle, 3d6, two pillars of 4 and ended their dyad with 4 pillars of 3.
After the performance of the pillar of the Escales del Carmen for the Festivals of Light, the Tirallongues opened their first day of the season away from home with this trip to Banyoles. Those in the striped shirt also premiered, up to four castle keepers in different positions of the castles.
The next performance of the Tirallongues will take place on Sunday 2 April in Plaça Sant Domènec de Manresa at 12 noon on the occasion of Rams Day.
