The Colla Castellera Tirallongues de Manresa participates as every year in the Fira de l'Axada.
The Taverna de l'Aixada de Tirallongues can be found in Plaça Europa. There you can taste sandwiches, drinks, hot broth and fries, all day long, prepared by the Farres de la colla group, which every year surpasses itself in terms of organization and quality of service.
The Tavern is also the meeting point for the castelleras of the gang and a good place to meet up with friends.
You will also be able to see the group of grallers and drummers who, every day of the Fair, from 11am to 2pm, will tour the squares of the historic center performing pieces from the medieval repertoire. The route includes Plaça Europa, Plaça del Carme, Pou de la Gallina, Plaça Sant Miquel, Plaça Major, Plana de l'Om and Plaça Gispert. The repertoire performed includes the pieces Dance of demons by Massalfassar, I saw the wolf, Laudeamus Virginem, Foc, La Mort and Juffons. At all times, we are accompanied by the Gargoyle and her dancers who dance to the rhythm of the grallas and tablas.
Finally, at the central event of the Fira de l'Aixada, which takes place at 19:30 in the Plaça Major, the Tirallongues Group performs a pillar of 4 that coincides with the end of the event and the fireworks display.
